Extremely poor customer service
The game itself is decent. Ive been playing for a long time through many updates. However the customer support in response to complaints about bug/issues within the game is terrible. There are three basic responses: we will get back to you, its user error, or they ask for information any normal person playing wouldnt have because there is no way they were going to know the issue was going to happen in the first place.
Recently they have rolled out terrible items which have made it effectively impossible for someone who does not gem to play the game (I do buy gems). Including but not limited to a stone that lets you attack outside youre 8x rule, a stone which does not allow players to heal after they have been attacked with it, and a ridiculous golden hammer for an Easter event that cost a stupid amount of gems was only good for one use was only available buy purchasing it and rendered other items completely useless because you couldnt use them without the hammer.
There has been a wide spread cross server issue with peace agreements randomly coming down when they arent supposed to, as a result people who should be under protection are getting completely wiped out. Tap has been aware of the issue since at least February and has done nothing to resolve it or compensate the community for lost gems, troops, gold etc.
The majority of the tech support people I have spoken to dont have two technical brain cells to rub together, have often addressed me using "pet names" or terms of endearment which no self respecting CS person should ever do, because it comes across as condescending and disrespectful.
I do like the game very much BUT I cant give it a good rating because it appears Tap doesnt care about their customers. The lack of effort to address the peace agreement issue is staggering. There are people in my own alliance that have had their bubbles come down early multiple times, they have been attacked multiple times, the notification that their bubble came down happened hours AFTER it came down and Tap has not addressed it in a. Large scale which should have been done months ago. Peace agreements are times you pay for, in any other capacity if you paid for something and it didnt perform as expected you would get your money back, or a replacement or something. NOTHING has been done to compensate the players and there are literally 100s of people that have been effected.
Ive been playing this game a long time and seen it through some growing pains, I will not play another server. If Tap cares so little about my hard earned money, then I will take it somewhere else.
As a note Ive left this review on both versions of the game. I have played both and both are equally effected by the issues and have the same CS team.
